Aberdare Athletic F.C. |
The Aberdare Athletic Ground was a mixed sports venue in Aberdare, Wales, which was predominantly used for football. For some years it was the home of Aberdare Athletic F.C., who were members of the Football League between 1921 and 1927.[1][2]
It was also the venue of the first ever rugby league international involving an overseas team, on 1 January 1908, played between Wales and New Zealand as part of the 1907–1908 New Zealand rugby tour of Great Britain, with Wales winning 9–8.[3][4]
